Fundraising Buyouts
If fundraising or volunteering isn't your jam, you have the option to buy out your fundraising commitments. Buyouts completed prior to September 30, 2024 will be $100 each for CanSkate & ITS (or $200 for StarSkate).
Mid-Season Buyouts
For the fall session, buyouts any time after October 7, 2024 will be $150 each for CanSkate or ITS (or $250 for StarSkate). Any unfulfilled fundraising will be charged to your account at a rate of $200 EACH (or $300 for StarSkate) at the end of the season (Jan. 1, 2025), if you do not complete the required fundraising.
For the winter session, Can Skate and ITS buyouts any time after February 7, 2024 will be $150 each. Any unfulfilled fundraising will be charged to your account at a rate of $200 EACH (or $300 for StarSkate) at the end of the season (Mar 31, 2025), if you do not complete the required fundraising.

PreCanSkate and CanSkate require 1 fundraising commitment for the entire year (fall and winter).
PowerSkate programs do not require a fundraising commitment.
Intro to Figure Skating (ITS) requires:
1 fundraiser for fall
1 fundraiser for winter
CanSkate participants who move up to ITS for the winter session will be required to fulfill an additional fundraising requirement
Junior STAR Skate requires:
2 days/week = 2 fundraisers
3+ days/week = 3 fundraisers
ITS participants that move up to Junior STAR Skate for the winter session will be required to fulfill an additional fundraising requirement at the Junior rates - $200 to buyout at registration, $250 for a midseason buyout or $300 for an unfulfilled fundraising commitment)
Intermediate/Senior STARSKATE requires:
2 days/week = 2 fundraisers
3+ days/week = 3 fundraisers
NOTES:
Fundraising commitments are capped at 5 per family.
Fundraising commitments are only completed when the specified amount is reached (for example, if $100 is required to be raised for a Skate-a-thon, credit will only be given when $100 is fundraised).
All fundraising buyouts will be charged to the credit card on file.

Current Fundraisers
Will Hauk Meats
Beef Jerky comes in 170 gram bags. All Sausage & Pepperoni are in 454 gram packages. All packages are vacuum sealed and labelled. BE ADVISED - all jerky, sausage & pepperoni are fresh, moist meat products that must be refrigerated and have an expiry date of 7-10 days. An order form can be found here.
Purdy's Chocolates
An Easter campaign of Purdy's chocolates will begin shortly. To participate in this fundraiser, you must email fundraising@leducskating.com to get set up with an account to place your order.
Fundraising requirement for Precan/CanSkate and ITS is min $200, and for StarSkaters min fundraising is $300.
Board Opportunities
You can also fulfill ALL your fundraising commitments by joining the Board of Directors or our Carnival Committee. The Club's success depends on its members volunteering their time to make it work!
